SHAKE IT

A vessel inspired by the gesture of a Polaroid frame undulating in space and time. This wood model evolved from a series of cardstock mockups and hand carved foam prototypes.

TRANSFORMERS

Massing study of three figures in order to create a complex effect of 'unity'. These sculptures explore positive and negative space in three dimensions to achieve a balanced composition.

A functional chair designed to be constructed with a single piece of uncut cardboard and assembled without any adhesive. Link to video below.

Modular partition constructed with X-shaped units vacuum formed over foam. Configurable to filter light and regulate noise.

YES x RSID

For the 2015 exhibition 'YES x RSID', Carlos developed the overall programming and created custom display systems using reclaimed furniture-grade PVC and galvanized steel pipes.
